Chelsea and Liverpool are among the clubs who have contacted Porto for the left-back Alex Telles, Sport Witness has learned.
The Premier League sides are part of a long list of pretenders who would like to sign the Brazilian player in the summer transfer window.
Telles has just won the Portuguese league with Porto, and has been receiving attention from European giants for the 20 assists he’s made this season.
Porto are reluctant to let the player go, especially after selling two fullbacks this summer, with Ricardo Pereira leaving for Leicester City and Diogo Dalot moving to Manchester United.
That’s why the Dragons are not negotiating for Telles, who’s only leaving in case a club comes and triggers his €40m release clause.
The player would accept the move to a top club, as long as the personal offer matches his demands of £60k per week after tax.
Now it’s up to Chelsea, Liverpool and any other interested clubs to decide whether they want to push for the deal.
