Serie A side Atalanta are reportedly expecting an auction for the Ivorian midfielder Frank Kessie next summer. According to Calcio Mercato, this battle should be mainly made up of Italian and English clubs.

The website claims that Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are all expected to go for him, and Roma and Juventus would be the ones trying to keep him in Italy. Due to the player’s great season in Serie A, Atalanta would demand at least €30m for the transfer. That’s how good they consider Kessie’s potential to be.

Kessie was signed by Atalanta for only €300k in 2015. He was sent on loan to Cesena, and after spending one season out of the club he returned to a place in the starting team.

The player’s impressive season in Italy hasn’t only attracted the three English clubs mentioned by Calcio Mercato. Tottenham, West Ham and Everton have been recently linked to him too.

But, this time, it’s Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United said to be in the battle for Kessie.
