As Napoli and Victor Osimhen currently face a relationship crisis which is expected to lead to the striker’s departure from the club, the Italian media is already starting to wonder where he’ll land next.

Calcio Mercato today features a story wondering whether the Nigerian star will already move in January, and by naming the potential destinations for him, Chelsea are those highlighted.

The outlet starts by recalling that several clubs targeted Osimhen in the summer window, but most of them actually ended up signing other centre-forwards.

That’s why Chelsea are labelled as the ‘first and most logical solution’ for the player, as they didn’t.

It’s said the Blues have already followed Osimhen in the past and have ‘no limits’ on their spending. They’re said to be after a ‘real nine’, and are called a ‘lifeboat’ to save him from the situation at Napoli.

What is left to see is how much the Serie A side will demand to let the striker go in the upcoming transfer windows.

Following the €120m request from the summer, his imminent departure may bring his price down, and Chelsea could benefit from the situation.
