Chelsea are named today as one of the clubs who could be signing Matias Vecino from Inter Milan in the next transfer window.

As newspaper Tuttosport brings a story about the important goals the midfielder has been scoring, they say English clubs have been paying attention to his recent efforts.

The outlet writes that Vecino has ‘become a target’ for Chelsea, whose manager Maurizio Sarri has previously worked with the player at Empoli.

For now, Vecino is said to have a tag price of €30m. However, things could change as all of Inter Milan’s midfield should be judged at the end of the season, with more than one player expected to leave.

Tuttosport also mentions the interest from Tottenham Hotspur, so Chelsea would have to beat their London rivals in the race.

Now if the Blues continue not to be allowed to make signings next summer, maybe they will have to see him playing for another Premier League club next season.
