Chelsea and AC Milan have been involved in multiple deals in the past few seasons.
All of Christian Pulisic, Fikayo Tomori, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Tammy Abraham joined the Italian side from the Blues and the two clubs could be involved in another deal soon.
Calciomercato have reported that Chelsea are interested in Milan’s Tijjani Reijnders, even though he signed a new deal with the Rossoneri a couple of days ago.
They state that if Milan fail to qualify for the Champions League, the futures of all their players will be uncertain. In that case, 26-year-old Reijnders could also depart in the summer.
Chelsea have already ‘started to ask’ for information for the Dutchman. While no official negotiations have been held, there is definite interest from Stamford Bridge and contact has been initiated.
The indication is that there is an excellent relationship between the two clubs and this can aid the transfer. So far, there has only been an expression of interest from London.
Barcelona and Manchester City are also monitoring the player and Reijnders’ situation can evolve, depending on how the Rossoneri perform in the season.
