Inter Milan are still open to selling players before the window closes, despite comments stating otherwise from Simone Inzaghi.
The manager had said there’d be no further outgoings, but he was put right by club official Beppe Marotta, who said that whilst he understood Inzaghi’s comments, Inter have a responsibility to have both a good squad and a reasonable financial situation.
Of course, that heavily suggests that should clubs arrive with the right money then Inter players are available. This is where Chelsea could come in, with Calciomercato reporting the club are still keen on Denzel Dumfries and Cesare Casadei.
A deal for the latter is in the works, and it’s stated Chelsea’s latest offer is worth €8m plus bonuses. According to the report, should the Stamford Bridge side reach €15m, as a mix of fixed fee and potential bonus payments, then the deal will be done.
The Blues have ‘every intention’ of moving again for the signing.
When it comes to Dumfries, it’s stated an offer approaching €50m would simply be too good for the Italian club to refuse, regardless of their manager’s feelings.
