Croatian midfielder Milan Badelj is facing an uncertain future at Fiorentina, and has been linked with a move to Chelsea.
Badelj’s agent Dejan Joksimovic recently spoke exclusively to Sport Witness, and confirmed no Premier League side have contacted him for the Croatian yet.
However, the rumours of a move away from the Serie A club don’t seem to stop. According to a latest report on Italian website Calciomercato, Fiorentina are ready to allow Badelj to leave the club.
Calciomercato report Chelsea’s interest in the Croatian, but say AC Milan and AS Roma are also keen on the player.
The Serie A club want €12m for the 27-year-old, and Calciomercato believe Chelsea are the only club who could afford him in the January transfer window.
Fiorentina reportedly want to sell Badelj, so that they could use that money to strengthen their squad. Badelj has a contract until 2018 at Fiorentina, so a decision on his future is expected in the near future.
This one is clearly not being pushed by the player’s agent, and there’s been no steps made yet, regardless of what is reported in Italy.
