Since this is another summer where Milan Skriniar continues being linked to other clubs, Chelsea have once again been pointed out as a potential destination for the Inter Milan defender.

During the talks between the Blues and the Nerazzurri for Romelu Lukaku’s transfer, it’s been said a few times that the Stamford Bridge side would like to include the Slovakian player in a potential deal.

Now that the striker’s move back to Inter Milan is agreed, Sky Italia report that Chelsea made contacts for Skriniar, and continue to be interested in landing him.

They stated (via FC Inter 1908) that during negotiations in recent days, the Blues ‘asked for information’ on the ‘coveted player’, who will ‘leave only under Inter’s conditions’.

That means the Nerazzurri are unlikely to give away big discounts to sell Skriniar this summer. They’re said to be demanding at least €70m to let him go.

Paris Saint Germain are still labelled as the most interested club, but Chelsea continue to be labelled as competitors. A move to PSG looks likelier at this point, yet if the Blues strongly turn their attention away from Jules Kounde then things could quickly change.
