Last month, Sky Deutschland journalist Patrick Berger said Manchester City and Liverpool are looking at Andrija Maksimović and Chelsea can now be added to the clubs looking to sign the Red Star Belgrade player.
That’s at least what Tutto Juve are reporting, and they provide the latest on the 17-year-old.
The midfielder came up through the ranks of the Serbian club’s youth system and made his way into their first team in 2023. He made 14 appearances so far, of which 12 are from this season.
Maksimović’s performances for Red Star Belgrade, profile and potential would have caught the attention of Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool and other clubs.
The website says Juventus have taken notice of the Serbia international, who is one of the ‘most talented youngsters’ in his country. The Serie A side are in the ‘running’, along with Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool, to sign the teenager.
Maksimović’s contract lasts until 2027 and Tutto Juve state his asking price is around €4-5m. This would be affordable for Chelsea and the two other Premier League sides.
The Serbian will turn 18 years of age next June and the English clubs have to wait until then to bring him to the UK.
