AC Milan have scored 18 goals in the league this season and Suso has direct involvement in 10 of them, having scored three by himself and setting up seven others for his teammates in nine appearances.

Italian website Tutto Mercato Web look at the two possibilities regarding the 24-year-old’s future, which are either to sign a new deal with his current employer or find a new club.

He is contracted to the Serie A outfit until 2022 and the winger remains hopeful to extend his stay by one more year, with which he would also see his wages increase.

The former Liverpool man’s agent earlier admitted that his client is happy at San Siro and loves Milan.

Suso has a release clause of €38m in his current deal and the report claims Chelsea and Atletico Madrid are looking at the Spaniard. That would be the price Milan would demand.

TMW also goes on to mention that the Europa League winners and the Premier League side have already ‘taken first the steps’ to ‘snatch’ the player from Milan. It should be seen whether the Rossoneri will be able to retain him or whether Chelsea or Atletico manage to land him.
