Chelsea and Barcelona are ‘already negotiating’ a potential deal for Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.
That’s according to Cadena COPE, who say the player’s potential move to Stamford Bridge is ‘heating up’.
Aubameyang has been linked with a move to Chelsea over the last week or so, with the Blues desperately scouring the market for a new striker before the window closes.
They’ve let Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku leave the club this summer, leaving Armando Broja as the only recognised striker in the squad.
It’s a situation they want to resolve and have seemingly turned their attention to bringing Aubameyang back to the Premier League.
Reports have made it clear that negotiations are being held with the player and Barcelona would be open to a sale if they were to receive a bid.
That bid has not arrived as yet but Cadena COPE report that the two clubs are ‘negotiating’ a possible deal.
According to their information, Aubameyang has been firmly put on the list of possible sales by those in charge at the Nou Camp as it would allow them to continue making signings and register Jules Koundé.
There is no mention of an official bid from Chelsea yet, or how much Aubameyang might cost, just that the Blues are in discussions with Barcelona about a possible transfer.
