Nacer Chadli has been a decent servant to Tottenham Hotspur, since his £7m move from Twente in 2013. He’s struggled to be considered a first team staple at times, but for the price, and for his good attitude and application, Chadli isn’t a bad person to have around the place.

However, he may be on his way out of Tottenham. Belgium’s DH take a look at the situation this week, and they say Chaldi’s chances of remaining at Spurs ‘appear slim’.

Despite Borussia Dortmund being mentioned, DH don’t think that’s a suitable destination right now, because Chadli would face an awful lot of competition.

It’s stated that Swansea City is a more credible track, but even there the story has gone somewhat stale. The Welsh club have recently tied up a deal for Fernando Llorente, and are working to close the Borja Baston purchase, perhaps they’ve been busy.

The departure of Andre Ayew to West Ham looks like it leaves a perfect hole for Chadli to fill. Not only that, it gives Swansea the money to please Tottenham, which is never an easy task.

Feeling flush with the West Ham money, Swansea’s chances of getting Chadli have surely received a boost.
