Juventus, and the media around the Serie A side, are fast coming to the realisation that Rangers won’t be signing Aaron Ramsey on a permanent deal in the summer window.
When Juve sent Ramsey to Rangers, the plan was that either the Ibrox club would take him off their hands permanently, or that he’d show enough in Glasgow for another club, perhaps from the Premier League, to come forward and take his contract off the Italian side’s hands.
Turin newspaper Tuttosport say it’s Giovanni van Bronckhorst who is behind the whole thing falling to pieces, with the Rangers manager clearly not a fan of what he’s seen from Ramsey so far.
There’s no criticism towards the Dutchman, with it accepted this was always a possible outcome at Rangers, given Ramsey’s struggles in recent years.
The way things stands, Tuttosport say ‘the chances are practically zero’ that Rangers will look to keep the midfielder beyond his loan spell, and that passes the problem back over to Juventus in the summer.
