According to claims in the Italian media Olympiakos are showing an interest in Watford forward Stefano Okaka. The player’s future with the Premier League side could be uncertain after the departure of Walter Mazzarri at the end of last season.
TMW have reported Olympiakos are considering signing the Watford player this summer, as they look to bolster their attack ahead of next season. It’s also been claimed the Greek champions could soon come in with an offer to land the former Sampdoria and Anderlecht attacker.
Okaka was signed by Mazzarri twelve months ago, but with the coach no longer at the club there’s a possibility the player could move on. Last season the 27-year-old spoke about the respect he had for his compatriot after the former Inter Milan boss brought him to Watford.
Okaka joined Watford on a five-year deal from Anderlecht last summer, and he’s played eighteen league games, scoring four goals.
