Galatasaray are set for talks to sign Liverpool forward Divock Origi, report Turkish newspaper Takvim.
The Turkish champions are in the market for a striker and this summer they’ve been strongly linked with a move for Leicester City’s Ahmed Musa.
Takvim say Origi is the latest forward target for Galatasaray and they are looking to hold talks with Liverpool with regards to the 23 year old.
Origi spent last season on loan at German side Wolfsburg and has now returned to Liverpool for preseason training, playing at the weekend in the friendly against Chester.
However, there’s still a chance the attacker could leave Liverpool before the transfer window closes as it’s likely his chances would be limited if he remains at Anfield. Origi doesn’t look to be in Jurgen Klopp’s long term plans and may need to find a new club.
Origi played 31 Bundesliga games for Wolfsburg last season, scoring 6 goals. His contract with Liverpool expires next summer.
