Tottenham Hotspur continue to show interest in Dušan Vlahović after considering him as a possible replacement for Harry Kane in the summer.

The north London club didn’t make an approach for the Fiorentina star after Kane decided to continue with Spurs.

Vlahović’s contract expires in 2023 and Fiorentina chairman Rocco Commisso has revealed the striker has decided against signing an extension at the club.

Since then, there have been various reports discussing several suitors, including Spurs, and also suggestions over when he could leave the Serie A side. Juventus have been pushed as the main contender from Italy and this is once again pushed forward by Calciomercato.it.

Journalist Enrico Camelio claims La Viola’s ‘off-market figures’ of over €70m for the Serbia international have put off interested clubs.

The Turin club are in constant contact with the player’s entourage, but unless Fiorentina lower their demands, it will be difficult to secure 21-year-old’s services.

‘It is certain’ that half of Europe is interested in Vlahović. When detailing the clubs certainly chasing the attacker, Nuno Espírito Santo’s side, Atlético Madrid and Borussia Dortmund are mentioned.

Despite Spurs’ ‘certain’ interest in Vlahović, Calciomercato.it explain neither Tottenham nor other suitors are ‘inclined to spend scary amounts’ to sign him.
