As the Danish media today covers all the awards that Matt O’Riley got at Celtic at the weekend, they also bring some very interesting information on the midfielder’s future.
According to Tipsbladet, there are some talks going on for the 23-year-old to move from Brendan Rodgers’ side to English football.
The website writes that Celtic are currently in talks with two clubs. Those are not named, with the outlet just saying they’re from the Premier League’s top six.
For now, there’s no further information on how those negotiations have been going. Tipsbladet reiterates the Scottish side had turned down an offer from Atlético Madrid in January, and Inter Milan had also been recently linked to O’Riley.
With 16 goals and 17 assists for Celtic this season, the midfielder was picked as Hoops’ Young Player of the Year, Player’s Player of the Year and Player of the Year.
There’s no doubt Premier League clubs can pay a big amount of money for O’Riley, and now it’s the case of waiting to see who Celtic have been in talks with.
