Celtic in talks to sign summer target, offer on wages already made

 

Celtic are still chasing Fenerbahçe left back Hasan Ali Kaldirim, report Turkey’s Sporx. The Scottish Premiership side were linked with the player throughout last season, and are now ready to move in on the defender.

The Turkish website claims Celtic are currently following his situation closely, and are ready to step up their pursuit. Recent reports Hasan Ali has turned down Fenerbahce’s latest contract extension offer can only be a boost for Brendan Rodgers.

The 27-year old Turkish international is seen an option for Rodgers this summer, and Sporx say Celtic officials are currently in talks with Hasan Ali’s agent. Earlier this year Celtic offered Hasan Ali a lucrative annual salary, plus a signing on fee.

Hasan Ali is free to talk with other clubs after rejecting Fenerbahçe’s offer of €1.4m in wages per year, and now the Turkish club are looking to offer €1.8m to keep him at the club.

Celtic are now looking to take advantage of the situation if he’s doesn’t accept the next offer from Fenerbahce.
