Even though the rumour had cooled down a little in the past few days, Porto’s chase for the Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham is back being highlighted by the Portuguese press.
This Wednesday, it’s newspaper Correio da Manhã who brings a story saying that the 22-year-old is still a priority for the Dragons.
Manager Sérgio Conceição has been asking the board for another midfielder, and Ntcham continues to be the number one target in the list.
The outlet claims that Celtic continue to demand over €15m for the player. Porto’s first bid was to get just a percentage of his rights, and it was turned down by the Scottish side.
Now Correio da Manhã claims that Porto will work to make another bid before the transfer market closes.
The newspaper doesn’t seem to know how much the Portuguese champions will offer, but it’s safe to say that by now, they’re pretty aware of how much Celtic will accept or not.
