Celtic may be ready to pay €2m to sign Hammarby left-back Mohanad Jeahze in the summer transfer window.
That’s according to Expressen, relayed by Fotboll Skanalen, who back up reports from the UK today and put some figures on a possible deal.
It’s explained that a report this week stated Celtic were looking at 25-year-old Jeahze this summer as they plan to strengthen their squad in the summer transfer window.
That report made it clear that the Scottish giants were looking at the defender, although there was no mention of whether talks had been opened or what sort of transfer fee would be required.
Expressen pick up on that and state that there has been no ‘concrete bid at present’ in time from Celtic.
However, should they decide to come forward, they ‘may be prepared to pay’ around 15-20m Swedish krona, which works out at €1.44-1.93m.
At the moment, it appears Celtic have only shown an interest in the player, and there’s been no concrete talks or anything of that nature, but that is the price being shared from Sweden should the situation change.
