When making pre-game analysis of European matches, many countries like inviting former players who featured for both clubs involved.

So today, Tutto Mercato Web Radio had Massimo Donati, who played for both Celtic and AC Milan, to speak about tomorrow’s match at the San Siro.

He was part of the Stadio Aperto show, and most of what he had to say about Celtic was regarding their bad form, falling behind Rangers, and the struggles they’ve been having under Neil Lennon this season.

“Celtic have many problems,” Massimo Donati told TMW Radio.

“The season isn’t going well for now, and they say that tomorrow the coach is at his last chance. In my opinion they are suffering a lot from the fact that they have to reach the ten-in-a-row, the tenth league in a row, a pressure that players and staff are feeling a lot.”

He also compared Celtic to the great season Steven Gerrard’s Rangers have been having so far: “They are having impressive growth, until February they did very well then they got lost, stuck, and spent a month letting Celtic take off.

“This year, on the other hand, Rangers always seem to be in the middle, they go to a thousand and do not give up a iota: they have improved to avoid Celtic’s tenth victory. If they go on like this, we will see excellent things both in the league and in the Europa League,” said Donati, who played for Milan for many years, and then featured for Celtic between 2007 and 2009.

With one draw and three defeats, Celtic are on the bottom of Europa League’s Group H. They lost to Milan 3-1 in Glasgow, and that’s why the Italian media is so confident about the game at the San Siro.

Domestically, they’re eleven points behind Rangers, although they have two games in hand.
