Turkish newspaper Fanatik report Celtic are keeping tabs on Hatayspor striker Aaron Boupendza.

Celtic will be looking to strengthen this summer after conceding the Scottish Premiership title to Rangers last season. The Scottish giants have yet to announce their new full time manager after Neil Lennon left the club in February, but it seems they are still looking towards the summer transfer window.

Fanatik claim Galatasaray are also keen on the player but they will face competition from Celtic.

Boupendza has been heavily linked with a move away from the Turkish club and previous reports claimed Serie A club Atalanta are also in the frame for him.

The 24-year-old rejected the chance to join Russian side Krasnodar midway through last season but it’s expected that he will depart his current club this summer to seek a new challenge.

He finished as top scorer in the Turkish Super Lig in his debut season, scoring 22 goals. The Gabonese forward is under contract with Hatayspor until June 2022 so they may be forced to sell in the next window.
