Celtic suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Valencia in the first leg of their Europa League clash last Thursday.
Denis Cheryshev and Rubén Sobrino goals helped the La Liga outfit return from Glasgow with a crucial victory and also two important away goals.
The return leg will be played at the Mestalla Stadium later this week and the Scottish Premiership side will be allocated 2,500 tickets for their fans, according to today’s edition of Spanish newspaper AS.
Even though Los Che have one leg in the next round of the Europe’s second tier club competition, the Bhoys supporters have no plans to give up on their team.
It’s claimed that Brendan Rodgers’ side have already warned Valencia that 10,000 Celtic fans are expected to travel, as per their estimation, even though only 25 percent will get tickets for the European clash on Thursday.
The tickets which were at Celtic’s disposal were sold within hours and each cost €85.
For security reasons, Valencia are not selling tickets on their official website. They will control the ticket sales at the box office.
Rodgers has a tough task on his hand to help his Celtic side overcome the 2-0 deficit from the first leg.
