Celtic are one of the clubs considering a move for Genk defender Jere Uronen this summer.
TuttoMercatoWeb explains the left-back has managed to draw attention from the Bhoys, along with clubs in Italy and Germany.
It’s claimed unnamed Italian sides have conducted surveys for the 26-year-old, while two unnamed Bundesliga clubs are pressing strongly for his signing.
However, the ‘most concrete interest’ in the Finland international comes from Neil Lennon’s side, and this suggests the Hoops could be ahead of clubs from Italy and Germany.
TMW’s short report only states Celtic’s interest in Uronen is the ‘most concrete’, without providing any additional information on the Scottish club’s chase to acquire his services.
The fullback arrived at the Belgian club in January 2016, and had been a regular figure until the end of the 2018/19 season.
Uronen was left out of Genk’s squad in the final two months of the last calendar year, but he regained his place in the second half of the last campaign. This term he has four starts to his name.
