While it seems Lyon could be in the lead to sign Celtic’s Moussa Dembélé, there’s also a chance the French striker could leave Celtic Park for Germany.
This is what Le10 Sport are reporting on Wednesday, with the information coming from their chief editor Alexis Bernard, who took to Twitter to reveal the news.
According to him, Moussa Dembélé’s agent is allegedly in Dortmund on Wednesday to discuss a potential move, we can only assume, with Lucien Favre’s team.
The Le10 Sport man also states that on top of still holding talks with Marseille and Lyon, the agent also has a lead with Schalke 04, who are also ‘in the race’.
We all know what the French outlet are like (more miss than hit), but they have been known to come across some good bits of information here and there, so we refuse to rule this out just yet.
That German sides have been interested by Dembélé isn’t anything new, and with just a few days left in the transfer window both in Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga, it’s not surprising, if true, if his agent were to explore every avenue at his disposal.
