Celtic tonight face Bayern Munich tonight in their crucial Champions League group stage game, and a win over Anderlecht in the last game will give Brendan Rodgers’ side confidence when they face the Bundesliga side.

Many Celtic fans are expected to travel over for the game in Germany, and last night they were in good spirits. Hundreds of Celtic supporters descended on a Munich bar, and they were in a relaxed mood ahead of tonight’s game, even though the stakes are high for the Scottish Premiership champions.

With the usual repertoire of Celtic songs it led to a sing along of Neil Diamond track ‘Sweet Caroline’ to get things going.

Celtic boss Rodgers goes into the clash with Bayern Munich off the back of a 3-0 win over Anderlecht during matchday two of the competition. However, with Celtic captain Scott Brown sidelined with injury until the end of October they’ve lost experience in central midfield.

Rodgers will be looking to Leigh Griffiths and Scott Sinclair to provide the attacking threat in Munich tonight, but they face a difficult task against an improved Bayern team.
