As the negotiations between Porto and Celtic for the transfer of Olivier Ntcham continue, the Scottish side are reportedly now waiting for a more convincing attempt from the Dragons.

As written by A Bola this Tuesday, The Hoops are expecting this new attempt from the Portuguese champions to be made in the ‘next few days’.

Celtic have reportedly recently turned down a €15m bid from Porto, but consider that the payment methods can be changed so the clubs can find a deal.

A Bola points out that Porto may not buy 100% of the player’s rights. That’s something that is still allowed in Portugal, and often used for clubs who can’t afford the entire fees. That would obviously give Celtic a percentage in a future sale.

The outlet also claims that Celtic are expecting this next attempt to get the sale done. That sounds like even the Scottish side are optimistic about the transfer now, even though they’ve worked to hold the player at first.
