Celtic’s failure to convince Odsonne Edouard to sign a new deal at the club has led them to revise their transfer expectations for the Frenchman.
Edouard has been a hit at the club since arriving in a £9.27m deal from Paris Saint Germain back in 2018.
Since then he’s scored 72 goals in 151 Celtic games, as well as racking up 35 assists in that time as well.
His performances have not gone unnoticed around Europe and yesterday we covered a report from Italy that stated Juventus have the 22-year-old on a list of potential targets.
However, according to journalist Ignazio Genuardi, their transfer expectations have changed somewhat recently.

They’re trying to convince Edouard to sign an extension to his deal, which expires in 2022, but their failure to find an agreement with the striker has now seen them ‘gradually revising’ their demands.
He mentions no previous price but says now there is talk that Celtic would be willing to accept a price of around €25-30m for the striker.
Whether any of the interested parties, such as Juventus, would pay such a price is to be seen, but with a year left on his deal, Edouard looks likely to be a name we’ll hear plenty about come the summer.
