Celtic are continuing to push talks with Napoli youngster Giuseppe Ambrosino’s entourage, but the Italian club are not keen.
That’s according to journalist Orazio Accomando, who report that there is a distance with Napoli despite Celtic insisting on the entourage side.
According to his information, Celtic are continuing talks with the 21-year-old’s entourage but there is a distance between them and Napoli for the forward.
He adds that there is competition for Brendan Rodgers’ side too, as Cremonese made a new bid this morning. That was valued at €3m with a percentage on a future sale. Cagliari, meanwhile, are eyeing up a loan.
Il Mattino, via Calcio Napoli 24, also have information on the matter. They say that Celtic have come forward for Ambrosino. However, they have made it clear that they only want a permanent sale for the player at this moment in time.
They also report on Cremonese’s information and then say that Cagliari would want a loan deal rather than a permanent one.
The indication is that the decision rests with Napoli. They must decide whether they value the youngster and want to keep him or sell him on a permanent basis, something Celtic are offering.
