Earlier today, Foot Mercato stated Celtic are in the running to sign Zeidane Inoussa in the winter market. It was also reported Brendan Rodgers’ side could rival AS Saint-Étienne in the race for the BK Häcken player.

Expressen in Sweden backs up Celtic’s interest in the 22-year-old and provides the latest.

The winger has managed 10 goals and seven assists from 30 games since joining the Swedish club from Brommapojkarna in February 2024.

Inoussa has aroused interest from Celtic and the Ligue 1 side and the two clubs are keen on securing his services. There could be developments around his future in this window.

The Scottish champions and Saint-Étienne have already contacted Häcken to find out the conditions needed to sign the attacker.

Expressen state that Celtic and the French club want to sign the Swede, and both are ‘considering making bids’ in January. There’s no mention of the fees they would offer or Häcken’s demand.

Brendan Rodgers’ side could battle it out with Saint-Étienne as they are keen on bringing Inoussa to Celtic Park. They also have other attacking targets in their list, including Real Valladolid’s Raúl Moro.
