Leeds United fans, remember when your team signed a young Brazilian named Adryan on loan and he turned out to be a flop at Elland Road?

Well, things haven’t been going great for him since, as the now 28-year-old has spent most of his time travelling the globe trying to find some stability in football without ever managing it.

Starting off at Flamengo, he then went to Cagliari and Leeds on loan, before heading off to Nantes for a season and ultimately signing on a free transfer for Sion in Switzerland.

He spent two seasons there, before loans to Kayserispor and Avaí FC (twice) followed, only for him to end up in Italy again, this time with Brescia, who are owned by a certain Massimo Cellino.

The former Leeds owner has brought back the Brazilian to a club of his, as he was announced as the Serie B side’s new signing on Thursday, as shown here by Il Giorno.

Pep Clotet is the manager at Brescia, and the club have been in free-fall of late, as they sit 14th in their league, just two points above the relegation spots.

Whether the Leeds flop will be able to turn things around in Italy again remains to be seen, but Cellino certainly thinks he can, or he wouldn’t have signed him.
