Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele has been pictured in the company of Arsenal stars Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Alexandre Lacazette and the photo was shared by the Gabon international’s father on Instagram.
The Sun earlier reported the Gunners are interested in the France international and could include Aaron Ramsey as a part of the deal.
Catalan newspaper Sport now claims the idea of the winger joining the north London club is ‘gaining strength’ after he was pictured alongside a few Arsenal stars. This appears to the basis of growing agitating around the player.
Dembele joined Ernesto Valverde’s side from Borussia Dortmund for a fee of €105m plus variables last summer.
Sport claims the arrival of Malcom, coupled with Barcelona’s lack of confidence in the World Cup winner, is why a move away from the Camp Nou cannot be ruled out, especially when top European clubs are tracking him.
Dembele shares a very good relationship with Aubameyang, having played together at the Signal Iduna Park for one season and they’ve been good friends since then.
We think the Catalan media are overreacting to the situation, but it’s certainly caused a fuss and brought old Arsenal rumours back to the forefront.
