In case Carlos Miguel last night made his last appearance in Brazil before moving to Nottingham Forest, then he had a farewell to be remembered.

Corinthians played a home derby against São Paulo, and with a complicated situation at the club, who may be risking relegation this season, the goalkeeper was one of the protagonists.

The first reason was a little fight he got involved in while São Paulo were celebrating their goal. Carlos Miguel, showing he’s far bigger than any other player there, pushed Luciano, and was booked from that. Many people claimed he should have been sent off.

The game went on, and at the end of it, when the score was 2-2, Carlos Miguel made a beautiful save which Nottingham Forest fans will definitely be glad to see.

Carlos Miguel still seemed angry with Luciano after the match, and made an Instagram post where the São Paulo player is sitting in the background, having tagged him as ‘sucker’.

Luciano didn’t stay quiet, also posting a message, claiming Carlos Miguel is only a ‘promise’, as he only has ‘ten games as a professional’.

Well, that might have been Carlos Miguel’s final game in Brazil. Reports say Nottingham Forest will pay his release clause this Monday, and the Reds could put an end to all this saga.
