If you’ve been following Everton news on Sport Witness for the last few months, you’ll know the Blues are set for a busy summer.
That’s what most of the European papers think anyway, with barely a day going by without one of them having Everton doing lots of business.
Most of the business they will seemingly be doing is in Napoli, with them heavily linked to nearly all of Carlo Ancelotti’s former charges.
The three most common names have been Allan, Kalidou Koulibaly and Hirving Lozano, with all three considered players that Everton very much need at this moment in time.
Allan is undoubtedly a hot topic, with Everton linked throughout the January transfer window and their interest not abating ahead of the summer either.
Koulibaly is more of an outside chance, with many believing the Senegalese defender will be on his way to one of the big sides in Europe this summer rather than Goodison Park.
That’s not the case according to former Napoli boss Gianni Di Marzio, though, who believes the Blues are very much in the race for both players.
“If Carlo really wants to fish in Naples, he could be more interested in someone like Allan,” he told Napoli Magazine, relayed by Arena Napoli.
“The future of Koulibaly? I sincerely hope he stays because he is a great player.
“But you have to be wary of the Premier, especially Ancelotti’s Everton, who wants to build a great team.”
