Fotospor report Cardiff City travelled to Istanbul last weekend to watch Trabzonspor attacking midfielder Yusuf Yazici.
The playmaker has been linked with a move to the Bluebirds after Trabzonpsor president Ahmet Agaoglu revealed last week he received a €14m offer from the Welsh club during the last transfer window.
Yazici scored Trabzonspor’s only goal during the 1-1 draw with Fener and he impressed with his performance. According to the Turkish website, Cardiff City, Sporting, Sevilla, Lille and Real Sociedad all sent a scout to the Ulker Stadium to watch the 22 year old.
The youngster could leave the club at the end of the season due to Trabzonspor’s financial woes, and Cardiff may be looking to capitalise. Their likely relegation would make things difficult, with the Welsh club then being less attractive and also having less money.
The midfielder has scored two goals for Trabzonspor in this campaign and is under contract with the club until June 2022.
