Championship side Cardiff City are interested in signing Spanish winger Gaspar Panadero, according to claims coming from the country.

Outlet AS claims manager Neil Harris wants the Almeria player signed in January to help the Bluebirds in the second part of the season.

The report doesn’t make it very clear how the negotiations stand. They only claim that there’s some competition for the signing, since Apollon Limassol and Burgos are keen on the player as well.

Although a permanent move to Cardiff sounds more likely, the two other sides would like to have Panadero on a loan deal, and a transfer to Wales on a temporary spell ‘isn’t ruled out either’.

Panadero was a starter in the first months of the season, getting two assists in ten appearances.

However, he hasn’t played a game since October, not even making it to the bench in most of the time. That’s why Almeria don’t mind letting him go in January.
