Ajansspor claim Cardiff City are very close to signing Galatasaray’s young central defender Ozan Kabak.
The 18-year old has impressed with his performances for Galatasaray in the Champions League this season, which has resulted in reported interest from the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal… reported in Turkey anyway.
According to Ajansspor, the Bluebirds have agreed to pay Kabak’s €7.5m release clause and the player is now close to a move to the Premier League.
However other reports in the Turkish media say Galatasaray are looking to extend his contract and the club are still hopeful Kabak will accept their offer stay.
Cardiff City’s interest in Kabak was reported in the Turkish media last month as Neil Warnock looks to strengthen his squad in this transfer window.
Kabak is under contract at Galatasaray until 2020, but the Istanbul club are hoping to extend this for another five years according to recent claims in Turkey.
