Following all the claims of Brahim Diaz’s departure from Manchester City, Spanish newspaper ABC brings today an interesting story about the player’s plans for the future.

The outlet claims that the midfielder’s ideas are pretty clear in his head, as all he wants is to be featuring for Real Madrid already in January.

Frustrated with the lack of playing time at Manchester City, Diaz has told the club he wants to leave. ABC say of his situation: ‘It can’t continue like this’

And given that his contract expires at the end of the season, City would be receptive to the idea of selling him and getting some millions instead of see him walk for free in the summer.

ABC claims that Real Madrid are willing to pay up to €10m for Diaz. That’s a way to guarantee his signing as soon as possible and avoid the competition in June.

Diaz’s agent, Pere Guardiola, would have rejected two offers in the past few weeks. One from Manchester City to renew his contract, and other, in the past few days, from Barcelona, who already had him as a target when he first moved to City.

It’s claimed that the player is planning to take his chances in the big sequence of games that Real Madrid have in January so he can quickly get the confidence of manager Santiago Solari. This way, he would make sure to stay at the Galacticos for the 2019-20 season as well.
