Russian Youtuber Evgeny Savin recently made a documentary on Arsenal’s Henrikh Mkhitaryan, in which the 31-year-old spoke at length on various topics.
The Armenia international opened up about his problems with José Mourinho at Manchester United and how a move to the Emirates was a ‘dream’ for him. He also revealed he could have joined either Tottenham Hotspur or Liverpool before signing for the Gunners.
Mkhitaryan is currently on loan at AS Roma and their manager, Paulo Fonseca has expressed his desire to sign the former Borussia Dortmund man on a permanent transfer. It’s still not clear where Mkhitaryan will play next season.
His sister, Monika, also featured in Evgeny Savin’s documentary on the Arsenal owned player and she admitted her brother would consider a move to Zenit Saint Petersburg in the summer.
“In life you cannot close doors on anything. Henrikh is ready to consider this option and he loves Russia,” Monika was quoted as saying by TuttoMercatoWeb.
Mkhitaryan’s contract at the Emirates is until 2021 and Arsenal will have to take a decision on him after this season.
