Turkish newspaper Aksam claim Fenerbahce will part ways with Swansea City attacker Andre Ayew at the end of the season, with the Ghana international set for a return to the Welsh club.
Going with the headline ‘Bye Bye Ayew’, Aksam say Fenerbahce will not use their option to sign the Swansea City player on a permanent deal, following his season long loan spell with the Istanbul club.
Fenerbahce president Ali Koç has previously stated they would like to keep the 29-year old beyond this season, but after his after dismal form in the second half of the campaign it seems they’ve changed their mind.
Ayew is one of the highest earners at Fenerbahce but hasn’t been a regular starter in recent weeks.
With Swansea City set for another season in the Championship it seems likely they will also look to offload Ayew during the next transfer window.
The forward has made 36 appearances for Fenerbahce in all competitions this season, scoring 5 goals.
