Catalan newspaper Sport have a big feature in their Tuesday edition on a poll they’ve conduced of Barcelona fans. Asking more than 400,000 of the club’s supporters a series of questions about various things, one of the topics was who Barcelona should sell in January.
The club need to shed names from their wage bill, and fans were were asked who should be the priority exit. A huge 79% chose Arda Turan, which underlines what a flop the player has been at Barcelona.
This poll being published come on the same day the other Catalan daily sport newspaper, Mundo Deportivo, published a story saying Arda Turan’s agent is trying to get Everton or AC Milan to sign his client.
as they’ll be looking for a January boost, but the poll should be a sure sign of buyer beware.Turan was excellent for Atletico Madrid, but hasn’t been playing for Barcelona this season and the fans clearly want him gone, it’s not exactly the best recommendation for Everton.
