Greek website Sdna claim Burnley are showing interest in Olympiacos defender Omar Elabdellaoui.
The Norwegian right-back will become a free agent at the end of the season and subsequently he’s able to speak to other clubs with regards to a pre-contract agreement
Burnley are said to be one of the clubs who are currently looking at him as they look to bolster their squad ahead of next season.
According to Sdna, the 28 year old will first discuss a contract extension with his current club Olympiacos and he could still remain at Georgios Karaiskakis beyond this season.
If he doesn’t extend with the Greek side it seems there’s a good chance he could end up in the Premier League.
The former Manchester City academy player, who also had a spell at Hull City in 2017, has also been linked with the likes of Leicester City, Southampton and Sheffield United in the past few months.
Elabdellaoui has made 38 appearances in all competitions for Pedro Martins’ side this season, scoring one goal.
