Burnley are close to sealing a move for Lazio winger Loum Tchaouna and it seems as if they have tried to sign another player from Serie A.
The individual in question is AC Milan’s Warren Bondo, who joined the Rossoneri from Monza in the January transfer window for €10m plus bonuses.
The midfielder finds his future at the San Siro uncertain only months after his arrival, and Gazzetta dello Sport are reporting on his situation.
The newspaper, as relayed by MilanNews, state Burnley are interested in the Frenchman and have put forward an initial loan deal for the 21-year-old.
Despite having made only five appearances for Milan in the 2024/25 season, Bondo is keen on staying at the club and has every intention of proving himself to new manager Massimiliano Allegri.
That is the player’s stance, despite the Italian media pushing the idea that Bondo is one of the candidates to leave Milan this summer. He was also at the club’s training ground yesterday, back early and showing his eagerness to stay.
There’s every chance AC Milan try to take the decision away from the player, so there may still be hope for Burnley.
