Boasting 18 goals in 33 games for Bodø/Glimt in Norway this year, Faris Moumbagna has attracted some attention from various clubs in Europe with his performances.
According to Africa Foot, Lille, Burnley and Crystal Palace are all keen on signing him in January, while Lyon are also said to be in the mix.
The last two are both owned by John Textor in some shape or form, so that could be why we are seeing the two names.
Over at Burnley, it’s explained the Clarets want to sign Moumbagna ‘as early as’ the winter transfer window to try and help them avoid relegation back down to the Championship.
However, they are facing competition from Crystal Palace, who have allegedly been after the Cameroonian for ‘a while’, but are simply waiting for the ‘right time’ to make their offer.
There’s no mention regarding the price of the striker, but with the end of the season approaching, it could be the right time for the Norwegian side to cash in on him.
We now have to wait and see whether it’s Burnley or Crystal Palace who make the first move for the 23-year-old.
