Chelsea’s Andreas Christensen is on loan at Borrusia Monchengladbach until next summer, but there have been reports suggesting the Bundesliga side are in talks with the London club to sign him permanently.

The 20-year-old has been speaking to German daily Bild, and has confirmed he hasn’t made a decision yet.

He said: “I have not yet decided. I’m not going to do it at the moment. When it comes to me, I decide until next summer.”

Christensen also insisted that he hasn’t closed the door to either club, and doesn’t want to get distracted at the moment.

He added: “For me, both things are possible. I don’t want to be distracted, but fully focus on the difficult tasks with Borussia.

“Finally, I can’t decide alone. The question is if the clubs can agree a fee.”

The Danish centre-back has another four years left on his contract at Chelsea, and it’s unlikely they’ll let him leave the club easily, although a transfer with a buyback clause may be possible.
