Now it seems that every time a new club gets linked to Benfica striker Haris Severovic, the Portuguese press will mention that Brighton and West Ham are also keen on the 26-year-old.

It had already happened this week. When Galatasaray’s interest was reported, newspaper O Jogo covered the news, and recalled that Brighton and West Ham are in the race as well.

Now as A Bola says there’s a bid from Ligue 1 for the player, they do the exact same thing, without any big updates on what either English club is doing about their interest.

What A Bola does have to say is that Benfica are pretty interested in negotiating for the player, and will be selling him as long as a club shows up willing to pay €10m for him.

Seferovic had seven goals in 29 games for Benfica last season. Not a bad average, but the Eagles don’t believe he has much of a future at the club.

The striker is currently playing the World Cup for Switzerland, and will be facing Sweden in the round-of-16 next Tuesday.
