Brighton & Hove Albion and Borussia Dortmund are keen on signing FC Nordsjælland’s Mario Dorgelès this summer.
That’s according to Africa Foot, and they cover Brighton and Borussia Dortmund interest in the 20-year-old.
The Ivory Coast international left Ghana’s Right to Dream academy to join Nordsjælland in August 2022 and signed a contract until 2027.
Dorgelès’ preferred position is in the middle of the pitch but he can also be utilised as a left winger. He managed two goals and four assists from 31 games this season.
The outlet says his versatility, coupled with ball winning abilities and creating goal-scoring opportunities, make him an attracting option. They only mention Brighton and Borussia Dortmund as interested parties.
Africa Foot state it’s no surprise the Seagulls and the Bundesliga club are looking at the versatile player. The two teams are known for their impressive record of betting on young talents and could battle it out for Dorgelès this summer.
Transfermarkt value the player at €3.5m, but the Danish club will need more than that to sell him.
Dorgelès is ‘likely to leave’ and Brighton and BVB have to not only negotiate with his club but also convince him. In other words, Fabian Hürzeler’s side have to make a strong effort if the player is to join them.
