According to a claim in the Turkish media, Brighton & Hove Albion have stepped up their pursuit of Fenerbahce defender Ferdi Kadıoğlu.
The Turkey international has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs in recent weeks, including the Seagulls.
Fotomac today report on Brighton’s interest for the left back and they say the English club have tabled a €33m offer. It’s reported Brighton had initially come in with a €27m bid.
Again, it’s reported Arsenal, Newcastle United, West Ham, Atletico Madrid, Napoli and Juventus are also monitoring the situation with Kadıoğlu. The player was one of the standout players for his country during this summer’s Euros, helping Turkey to the quarter finals of the competition.
Kadıoğlu made 41 appearances for Fenerbahce last season, scoring 3 goals. He’s contracted to the Yellow Canaries until June 2026.
