Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Pascal Groß has reiterated that he is more than happy at the club despite rumours of a potential exit.
The German midfielder was the star of the show in the opening weekend of the Premier League, with his double helping to seal a 2-1 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford.
That was Brighton’s first-ever win at the famous old stadium, something that has launched Groß into the limelight since.
He’s subsequently been linked with a move to the Red Devils, while other reports have linked Werder Bremen to a potential effort to sign him.
Indeed, he had been linked with a return to the Bundesliga ahead of this summer when he was set to be a free agent before he eventually signed a new deal to extend his stay at Brighton instead.
That hasn’t stopped the rumours about his future at Brighton, although he insists there is nothing to talk about.
“At some point, it could be that I will move back to Germany and my home country,” he told Sky Germany.
“I am very attached to my home country. But at the moment I’m happy to be here.
“We are a growing club with great conditions, with the training centre, the stadium, the fans and with the players, you can see it in the transfers, the last three transfer windows players have left us for €150m.
“There are already really good guys there and also now we have a good team together again.”
