Sabah report Galatasaray wanted a redemption clause for Florin Andone when in talks in the summer, but Brighton & Hove Albion were strongly against selling him on a permanent deal at the end of his loan spell in Istanbul.
The Romania international joined the SuperLig on a season-long loan during the last transfer window and the 26 year old has been impressing in recent weeks for a struggling Galatasaray team.
There were reports in the Turkish media that Gala want to sign the Brighton forward at the end of the season, but Sabah say Brighton are adamant he’s not for sale.
Andone has taken his chance with Radamel Falcao sidelined, and the Romanian has established himself as a key player for Gala.
Galatasaray officials now fear Andone will be another Henry Onyekuru, who they loaned from Everton last year but couldn’t keep for another season.
